Curved bench indoor – Indoor benches are ideal for transitional seating. They may be placed in a hall, mudroom and end of a bed. Although you can buy one, you might as well do as a do-it-yourself project. A bench consists of a back, seat, leg and facial board. Furniture plywood can be used so that you are able to stain or paint the bench to match your woodwork or wall treatment in the room.
Place the 3/4-by-24-by-48-inch panel on a flat surface with 24-by-48-inch side flat. This is the back of the curved bench indoor. Place the flexible curve ruler over a 48-inch side so that it creates a convex curve that slopes down 4 inches on each 24-inch side. This will create the arc along the top edge of the back. Plot the curve with a pencil. Cutting the curve along the top edge of the back with a band saw. Sand the curved edge with a sanding block fitted with fine sandpaper until the surface is smooth.

Set back on the floor with a 3/4-by-48-inch flat lower edge. But the 3/4-by-16-by-20-inch boards with a 3/4-by-20-inch edge flat against the two 20-inch long sides of the back.
